I am delighted to welcome you to the Northwood School website and to introduce myself to you as Principal. I hope that the information within the website will give you an insight into the character of our school and all the many qualities that make it such a vibrant learning environment. In partnership with parents and the community, we seek to prepare our students for the challenges of the modern world; we want them to flourish and grow during their time with us, develop their talents and go on confidently to achieve their ambitions, whatever they might be. The Queensmead Northwood Federation
This Federation is a mutual arrangement between Queensmead and Northwood Schools that will allow children who attend Northwood School to benefit from the expertise and resources of both schools. Queensmead School is an academically successful local school with an acknowledged specialism in leadership and has the capacity and expertise to add to the personal, caring and supportive environment that children enjoy at Northwood School. The Federation will have consistently high expectations of children’s learning at both schools and it will allow us to offer your child wider ranging curriculum experiences and high quality teaching. Our aim is to ensure that children at both schools achieve their full potential in academic outcomes and personal development.
